Kosovo’s Parliamentary Commission for Security considers that Kosovo Armed Forces should have its intelligence mechanisms like all the other armed forces in the world.
Head of the Commission for supervision of Kosovo’s Intelligence Agency, Florin Krasniqi, stated that every security body should have its own intelligence. Deputies Fadil Demaku and Burim Ramadi shared the same opinion. They stated that intelligence of defense should be part of the mechanisms for completion of the armed forces.
Commission for supervision of Kosovo’s Intelligence Service, discussed also the appeals of the Commission for verification of senior officials of Kosovo Police and Kosovo’s Correction Service. They stated that there are senior police officials who did not undergo this verification, and continue to carry the same positions and to have access on confidential documents. According to them, in this case, Kosovo Police as a body for implementation of law is in fact violating it.
