Kosovo Prime Minister’s Office says Prime Minister Hashim Thaci was not interviewed by the American prosecutor Clint Williamson who is investigating allegations raised by Dick Marty regarding organ trade. According to the PMO, the news reported by the media is completely false.

“The Office of Prime Minister of Kosovo rebuts the report published in a Kosovo daily that allegedly prosecutor Williamson has interviewed Prime Minister Hashim Thaci,” the statement issued by Thaci’s office states.

“This is entirely false.”

“The Office of Prime Minister of Republic of Kosovo recalls that the freedom of press and free expression means, above all, professional and ethical responsibility which should be based on the accurate reporting, only after making relevant verifications,” the statement ends.

Today, the daily Tribuna published a report saying that Prime Minister Thaci met on Tuesday at his office the prosecutor investigating alleged crimes in the report of Dick Marty, Clint Williamson.

According to the paper, the head of the Government was not met in the capacity of prime minister but as a subject of investigation that Williamson is conducting.
