The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) and the Democratic League of Dardania (LDD) believe that the government formula from 2004 would be the best solution for problems faced by the people of Kosovo.

The AAK and LDD leaders, Ramush Haradinaj and Nexhat Daci, told reporters today that they prefer a coalition with the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) after parliamentary elections. According to the eventual coalition agreement, the LDK would get the post of president of Kosovo, Haradinaj would become prime minister and Daci would get the post of parliament speaker.

“On the seventh anniversary of the LDD, I announced the initiative that the future government of Kosovo should be based on the 2004 formula, when Rugova was president, Ramush was prime minister and I was parliament speaker. I believe LDK leader Isa Mustafa had the same initiative one year ago. Today, we agreed that there is political readiness for this. My idea is supported by our close partner Ramush Haradinaj,” Daci was quoted as saying.

Haradinaj said, “the partnership we had for municipal elections will continue for national elections too. This partnership will mobilize our forces and will also help us expand our partnership with other partners as Daci said. The idea of coordinated actions, similar to the 2004 formula, would provide solutions to many problems faced by our politics today”.

Haradinaj also said that if he is elected prime minister the average salary in Kosovo would be €1,000 and the unemployment rate would be reduced to 10 percent.
