After 15 years are buried 46 war victims in Suhareke and Krusha e Vogel (Radio Kosova)

Mortal remains of 46 persons who were considered as missing since the last war are buried today in Suhareke/Suva Reka and in Krusha e Vogel. The identification of mortal remains has been done lately from the institute of forensics.  On 26 March 1999 in Suhareke/ Suva Reka have been killed 70 citizens among them were 49 members of Berisha family. Municipality of Suhareke/Suva Reka in the occasion of the 15 anniversary of this massacre organized a mortal ceremony in the occasion of the burial of 27 mortal remains, 24 of which are from Berisha family. Kosovo president Atifete Jahjaga said in this ceremony that this day is a painful day for Kosovo, but for the families it will be easier, while their bodies lie quietly in their land. Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi said that from the last war Kosovo is missing 1,117 persons. Kosovo institutions have always raised its voiced towards this inhuman policy, towards politicizing of this issue and delaying of the issue of the missing. Kosovo Government will raise this issue also in Brussels in the next meetings and also from European Parliaments it will be requested to bring on a special resolution which would force Belgrade to open the files of missing persons, promised Thaçi
