Prime Minister of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, said today that Kosovo is ready to face any challenges in its justice system.
He said Kosovo was fortunate that the justice system in the last fifteen years was led by internationals, first by UNMIK and now by EULEX.
“It is time to clearly define that Kosovo has now its full capacities to lead the justice system in the sense of executive mandate while EU mission’s role will be more supportive and consultative,” said Thaci after a meeting with Albanian Assembly Speaker, Ilir Meta.
