The Serbian government’s Office for Kosovo-Metohija condemned on Sunday the decision by the Pristina authorities to deny Serbia’s Minister without Portfolio Aleksandar Vulin permission to pay a two-day visit to the villages of Donja Budriga, the municipality of Gnjilane, and Rajanovce, near Kosovska Kamenica.
This is the second time in a month that Vulin was denied permission to enter Kosovo-Metohija.
The Office called on the international community to condemn the denial of Minister Vulin’s visit and do everything in its power to prevent this from happening again.
Vulin was scheduled to visit a family in the village of Donja Budriga, whose baby was the 1000th child born in 2013, and present it with nursery equipment, reads the Office’s statement.
In the village of Rajanovce, Minister Vulin was expected to deliver a cow, a goat with kids and feed to Caslav Jeftic, whose goat and kids were recently stolen and this was all that the family had, the Office noted.
The goal of Vulin’s visit was to provide help to the two families and show concern of the state of Serbia and his own for the Serb people and every individual in the province, reads the statement.
