The Minister of Interior, Bajram Rexhepi, met with the Ambassador of the United States in Kosovo, Tracey Ann Jacobson. In this occasion, he informed the Ambassador on the preparations of the Ministry, respectively Kosovo Police, to guarantee public order, and freedom of movement for all the citizens during the election process as well as to offer required security conditions during the entire election process.
“The Kosovo Police has drafted a guideline for all the members of Kosovo Police, which stresses all the responsibilities and duties of Kosovo Police during during the election process in the entire territory of the Republic of Kosovo,” writes a press release of this Ministry.
On the other hand, Ambassador Jacobson valued the work of the mechanisms for implementation of law for offering their support during the entire election process and stressed the importance for these elections to take place in a calm, transparent and democratic spirit.
