The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), is already preparing the scenario for the constitutive session of the Assembly of Kosovo on Thursday. Sources of this portal within PDK, reportedly said that PDK jurists chaired by Arsim Bajrami are preparing the scenario on the flow of the session.
According to this source, this group is preparing Flora Brovina on how to behave on Thursday. “According to this scenario, Flora Brovina should invite PDK to propose the name of the candidate for the Assembly Speaker, based on the fact that they are the biggest parliamentary group that derived from 8 June elections,” said this source.
Another judicial ground that that PDK jurists are based on is the decision of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, which does not recognize post-election coalitions.
“They will also be based on a document which concerns judicial interpretation of the procedures and regulations during the constitutive session of the Assembly of Kosovo, according to which the biggest parliamentary group is the one which had majority of votes in elections,” said this source.
GazetaBlic reported also on Saturday for PDK’s tendencies to base their actions on a document, which was drafted by UNMIK administration. According to this source, Flora Brovina will try to avoid the agenda set by the old Assembly presidency on Saturday, when the outgoing Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi left the meeting.
