Civic Initiative Serbia, Democracy, Justice – Olvier Ivanovic expressed its sharpest protest due to decision of Eulex to ban the visit of Meho Omerovic to Olvier Ivanovic and requests the change of decision.
Mr. Omerovic is a long standing friend of Mr. Ivanovic, in the same time he is the chairperson of the Serbian parliament’s Committee for Human and Minority Rights. The ban on Omerovic’s visit, who wanted to get acquainted with the (dis)respect of rights of the unjustifiably detained Mr. Ivanovic once again confirms the suspicion in regularity of this politically motivated process, reads the statement of the CI SDP – Oliver Ivanovic.
The arrests of renown Serbs, releases of Albanians in whose cases witnesses have suddenly disappeared and arrests of Serbs from the north based on secret indictments are things which have ruined entire credibility of Eulex in Kosovo and Metohija, moreover, in the eyes of Serbian public Eulex has become a marionette in Pristina’s hands.
CI SDP – Oliver Ivanovic argues that it is about the time for Brussels to pay particular attention to the work of its most expensive mission which is not engaged on the ground in line with the entrusted mandate, reads the statement forwarded to TV Most.
