Post-election coalition in Kosovo Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Initiative for Kosovo (NISMA) and Vetevendosje are insisting to unblock institutional deadlock through dialogue with Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) in the Assembly.
Coalition bloc has sent an official letter to all deputies informing them that on Thursday 9 November at 10:00 hours it continues with constitutive session of fifth legislation period. The agenda remains the election of speaker and deputy speakers of the Assembly. However, the bloc is not expressing if Isa Mustafa is going to be their candidate again. They request that this deadlock to be solved in a discussion with Thaçi’s party, but the deputy head of PDK, Enver Hoxhaj, responded that his party will participate in constitutive session only if it is called from Flora Brovina. He repeated the stance that only PDK has the right to propose and elect the assembly speaker.
