Incident in the match Serbia – Albania was organized action aimed at destroying stability in Serbia and the region, said Serbian Prime Minister, Aleksandar Vucic. He added that three hours before the match he warned the EU representatives on preparation of provocation. “The intention of the Albanian extremists was to show that Serbia is a country intolerant towards diversity and to humiliate all its citizens,” said the Prime Minister in an interview for the daily Vecernje Novosti, which should be published tomorrow and on the occasion of 61st birthday of the newspaper.

Commenting on behaving of Albanian extremists at the Partizan stadium, during and after the football game Serbia-Albania, Vucic said: “They wanted to run over our pride, but we have ‘saved our face’ and showed to a gang of fake Albanian officials, who were in VIP lodge, a clear distinction between us and them. State shall undertake all legal measures to punish all offenders who are found to have committed crimes. ”

Yet, he says, we are waiting for Brussels’ official position on the outrageous incident, which was politically inspired. “I’m waiting for the reaction of the European Union, whose representatives I informed, three hours before the game, that Albanians are preparing a provocation and serious incident,” bitterly noted Vucic.
