Leader of Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) and outgoing Prime Minister, Hashim Thaci, had this morning separate meetings with the Germany’s Foreign Ministry director for south-east Europe, Ernst Reichel, the US ambassador, Tracey Ann Jacobson, and President, Atifete Jahjaga. According to lajmi.net, this round of intensive meetings is expected to very soon produce concrete results regarding the need to establish new institutions. At the same time, sources told Gazeta Blic that Thaci is under immense pressure from the western countries to call the Assembly session as soon as possible as the process of electing Assembly leadership and that of formation of the Government are viewed as two separate issues.
