The agreement in principle reached between PDK and LDK is expected to be finalized during this week. Representatives of these two political entities did not give any details about composition of the new government; however, it was said that working groups were holding meetings regarding this matter.

PDK chairperson Hashim Thaçi did not express his willingness to speak about Prime Minister’s post.

“We had an excellent meeting with the LDK last night. The working groups have continued their work and everything is going according to the plan and the working groups are harmonising the co-governance programme,” Thaçi said.

Thaçi also added that the PDK and LDK are right centre parties with great values.

On the other hand, LDK deputy chairperson Lutfi Haziri said that the new government will be led by Isa Mustafa, otherwise the PDK-LDK coalition will be broken.

Serb illegal structures construct collective building in Bosniak neighbourhood

(RTK1)

Illegal constructions in the northern part of Kosovo do not stop. Recently, cornerstone of a collective building was laid. The property where this building is being constructed used to belong to an Albanian citizen in the Bosniak neighbourhood of Mitrovica/Mitrovicë north.

According to local Albanian citizens, this building is being constructed by the illegal Serb structures and it aims to change the demographic situation in this part of the town.  Around twenty Serb refugee families are expected to be accommodated in this five-floor building.

Emir Azemi, deputy chairperson for communities at Mitrovica/Mitrovicë north municipal assembly, says that decision for colonization in the north is becoming a concern. He insists that this building does not have construction permit.

Supervisors of this project refute such claims. According to them, it will not be only Serb that will be accommodated in this building, but Albanians and Turks, as well.
