Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, along with the European Union Commissioner for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement, Johannes Hahn, on Wednesday made the official inaguration of the new facility of the Palace of Justice in Pristina. Mustafa, during the inauguration ceremony said that the new facilities contribute to proper work of the justice system. He also pledged that the government of Kosovo will continue to work on the independence of the judiciary. “There should be no compromise in the rule of law,” Mustafa said.

Hahn said that the European Union has supported Kosovo in this huge project as an integral part of its efforts to help strengthen the rule of law. “Kosovo Constitution protects the independence and impartiality of the judiciary. It is important that these principles be applied in practice as well,” Hahn said.
