Parliament of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Pristina, temporarily seated in North Mitrovica denies that this University will integrate into the Kosovo education system. This was announced today by the Student Parliament of the Faculty of Philosophy.

They point out that the Mitrovica University has strong guarantees of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of Serbia that the University would “remain and survive in the Serbian education system” and at the same time condemning Kosovo officials who have announced the integration of the university, alleging that such statements “do not contribute to improving the situation in Kosovo and Metohija” and that “provoke unrest among students.”

Thus students reacted to a report on “the process of applying for jobs in the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo for members of minority communities who have a diploma issued by the University of North Mitrovica,” which was adopted on Friday by the Kosovo government and which provides for the integration of Serbian state university into the Kosovo system of higher education.
