Statement by the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama that Albania and Kosovo will unite “in a classical manner” or within the EU, was intended primarily for the internal public, said Dusan Janjic to Dnevnik, adding that such an attitude of Albanian Prime Minister can only strengthen the position of Serbia in dialogue with Pristina.
“The Serbian leadership should address the situation in Serbia, to strengthen its position and there is no reason to draw attention on Rama and so raise his popularity. This objectively strengthens our position before the second round of dialogue,” said Janjic to Tanjug. He called the unification of Albania and Kosovo mission impossible and pointed out that this statement cannot affect the stability of the region but stability of Rama’s rating.
