The Kosovo Assembly adopted in principle the law on the Kosovo Agency for assessment and verification of assets. The law was passed by the votes of MPs of the ruling majority while the opposition was against it.
This law deal with issues concerning legal and immovable property and facilitation of the implementation of return of cadastral documents from Kosovo, which are in central Serbia. The agreement on the return of cadastral documents was reached within the technical dialogue in Brussels between Belgrade and Pristina.
The opposition criticized the adoption of this law, arguing that by accepting copies of cadastral documents instead of originals, Kosovo Assembly legalized the act of stealing of Kosovo documents.
