Molliqaj not worried about statements of Serbian officials

(Most monitored broadcasters, RTK1&KTV)

The Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has found the statement of Vetëvendosje official Dardan Molliqaj, that they will not choose means to oppose establishment of the Association of Serb Majority Municipalities, as ‘war threats’.

For the Serbian PM it is senseless why war threats are coming from Kosovo two years after signing of the Brussels Agreement between Belgrade and Prishtinë/Pristina.

Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo from Srpska List, Branimir Stojanovic, also found Molliqaj’s statements threatening.

He called on KFOR and other security structures to deal with Molliqaj, while he raised the question if Vetëvendosje is planning a new 17 March?

However, Dardan Molliqaj says that he is not worried at all by their statements. He said that these statements demonstrate that the reaction and the stance on the Association were right. Molliqaj reiterated that they will impede establishment of the Association with anything else, but the war. He underlined that this will not happen in Mitrovicë/Mitrovica by attacking Serbs, but in Prishtinë/Pristina against institutions and individuals involved in this process.

Molliqaj is convinced that with their intellectual, human and organizational potential they will manage to impede establishment of the Association. He took the Jablanovic case as an example, who was dismissed following violent protests of the opposition.

AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj said that they will not accept the Association with executive competencies.

During the Government’s press conference staged on Thursday about the field of economy, mines, and energy, Prime Minister Isa Mustafa said that they will make sure that the Association will not have executive competencies.

On this occasion, PM Mustafa also announced that new meeting with his Serbian counterpart, Aleksandar Vucic, will be held on 25 August in Brussels, RTK1 reported.

The AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj was very strict when he spoke about border demarcation with Montenegro. Talking from the AAK main office, he sent a very clear message to Kosovo institutions, “Stop or the people will stop you!” Haradinaj told this to Kosovo President Atifete Jahjaga, Prime Minister Isa Mustafa, Deputy Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi and Head of the Kosovo’s Commission for the Border Demarcation, Murat Meha.

Haradinaj said that efforts are being made to take away over 10.000 hectares of land from Kosovo with the newest demarcation of the border. However, he said, that people will not allow this to happen.

He called on all the country leaders involved in this process to visit the site, and not to speak about it from Prishtinë/Pristina.

On the other hand, PM Mustafa said that Government’s position about the border with Montenegro was presented on Wednesday, on the occasion of presentation of the report of Commission for Demarcation with Montenegro. Mustafa said that Government has worked three full years for this border, TV21 reported.
