Kosovo police has raised the security level in Mitrovica due to tonight’s EURO 2016 football qualifier game between Albania and Serbia, which will take place in Elbasan, Albania.

Kosovo Police regional head of Operations Željko Bojić said to Tanjug that police has raised the security level and that it will particularly be visible as of this afternoon until the end of tonight’s game.

“110 police officers will be on duty to care about safety of all residents,” said Bojić, and added that presence of the police will be particularly significant in multiethnic areas in the town and Mitrovica downtown.
