The Director of the Serbian Government’s Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Đurić most sharply condemned last night bomb attack on the house of the Mayor of Leposavić/Leposaviq Dragan Jablanović.
“Attack on every Serb in Kosovo and Metohija naturally causes fear and threatens to destabilize situation in the province. Huge efforts have been invested in last couple years in order to provide that Serbs in the province, as all citizens in the Europe, live in atmosphere of the rule of law. Attacks of this nature are setting us back in the atmosphere of anxiety and lawlessness,” Đurić stated. He further said that police should be aware that attacks on elected political representatives of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija have the specific weight and that it should not be allowed that this case remains unresolved, like some previous ones in the past.
