The head of the parliamentary group of the Serbian List in the Kosovo Assembly Slavko Simic said that steps were agreed in a meeting with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Kosovo Skender Hyseni for the police to implement in order to ensure the security and freedom of movement of Serbs.

Simic says that will be taken effective measures in high-risk areas, and there are also certain areas where incidents are repeated, such as the municipalities of Klina/Kline and Pec/Peja.

“Minister Hyseni promised that he will reinforce the Serbian police infrastructure on the ground and will provide some static checkpoints in order for police to adequately react when an incident occurs,” Simic said.
