Serbian Ambassador to UNESCO Darko Tanaskovic says that the chances grow to postpone the vote on Kosovo’s entry in UNESCO.
“I have the impression that the proposal to postpone the discussions on Kosovo’s admission to UNESCO got wider support in diplomatic circles,” said Tanaskovic for Sputnik, after the first day of the UNESCO General Conference.
“Some countries that were prone to refrain from the upcoming vote or even to vote for the admission of Kosovo to UNESCO slowly begin to accept, politically and in every other sense, correct idea of the postponement of the hearing until the next conference, or at least, there are favourable circumstances to talk about this subject,” says Tanaskovic.
