Serbian National Forum (SNF) expressed concern over increasing pressures on the Serbs who live in Kosovo. According to the press release of the organization, after an unsuccessful lobbying of the Western countries that Kosovo become a member of UNESCO, Serbs are exposed to various forms of pressures.
As SNF pointed out, burning of Jasovic house in the village of Siga, near Pec, provocations and attacks on Serbs in various parts of Kosovo “inevitably reminiscent on earlier brutalities against the Serbs, and which coincided with the various political decisions in the country and the world.” SNF expresses concern in case these pressures continue, and urges that “daily political events do not spill over into the everyday life of citizens.”
