Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) MP, Vjosa Osmani, reacted to a decision by the Serbian Parliament to revoke an invitation sent to her to attend a conference organized by the chairman of the Serbian Parliament’s European Integration Committee. Osmani took to Facebook to say that “on Europe Day, Serbia showed its true anti-European face”. “With this decision, the Serbian state showed how much it is influenced by chauvinists and war criminals like Vojislav Seselj. It was his provocations that resulted in the destabilization of relations with Croatia in the last weeks. Although it has opened the majority of chapters for EU accession, Serbia shows that it remains a state with anti-European values and that all its achievements on the integration path were a result of issues related to Kosovo, and not a result of merits or meeting the required standards. Such actions by Serbia do not contribute to peace or the normalization of relations, and let alone the European path of the Western Balkans,” Osmani said.
