Vetevendosje MP, Albulena Haxhiu, has accused Kosovo leaders – Assembly Speaker Kadri Veseli and Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj – of being responsible for what she said was Assembly’s degradation. In a Facebook post, Haxhiu wrote that Veseli and Haradinaj have turned the Assembly into a “worthless institution” and have not been scheduling regular sessions. “The Assembly has not yet completed April 16th sessions and we are already at the end of May,” Haxhiu said adding: “There are around 50 items waiting to be addressed while tomorrow’s session has been announced through an e-mail notification, without a meeting of the Assembly Presidency which is unprecedented.”
