Kosovo’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement to the press explaining why it has not officially informed Montenegro authorities about the ratification of the border demarcation agreement. The Ministry said that the notification will be made within the legally-specified timeframe, namely 15 days after the ratification agreement law is published in the Official Gazette. The Ministry said the law was published on 15 May 2018 and noted that they will inform Montenegro authorities through diplomatic channels in due time.
