Responding to the LDK MP Vjosa Osmani regarding appointment of Lulzim Peci “ambassador” to Serbia, Kosovo’s Foreign Minister Enver Hoxhaj said Peci is viewed as Kosovo’s ambassador to Serbia not only by our country but many others as well.

He stressed that the office will be called “Republic of Kosovo Liaison Office in Serbia”.

At the same time, Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo Edita Tahiri has stressed that the development fund will be part of the single customs area.

“The means, all customs duties, excise from customs points in the north of Kosovo will be poured into the state’s treasury,” said Tahiri.

She added that the fund has another mission, the building of trust in the Government of Kosovo from the Serbs in the north, a trust that has been destroyed for 13 years.

Tahiri noted that the “lifespan” of the development fund for the north will depend on the achievement of set goals.

Agreement on customs established rule of law in the customs and there is no need for it to be ratified at the Assembly because, according to Tahiri, this agreement like the IBM one is of technical nature.
