The U.S. Ambassador to Serbia, Kyle Scott, said the dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade should enter a more intensive phase. He said that it is clear that Serbia and Kosovo will not gain everything they want, but that it is important for both parties to reach a final compromise. “This is the reason why this dialogue is so much important to EU. I think that a compromise will be reached, maybe even this year,” Scott said.
The dialogue has entered its final phase with the meeting of the Presidents Hashim Thaci and Aleksandar Vucic in Brussels last week.
