Vetevendosje Movement requested today from justice bodies to initiate investigation with regards to the decision of the government of Kosovo to allocate additional €53 million to “Bechtel&Enka” company, for building the Pristina – Hani i Elezit motorway.
Kosovo Assembly MP from this political party, Liburn Aliu, said during a press conference that if the contract related to this decision is not signed yet, then justice bodies should take the situation in their hands and bring perpetrators in front of justice.
Kosovo government has stated that this payment was allocated because the previous government failed to pay their bills in time. Kosovo’s Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj said during his reporting at the Assembly that the payment avoided judicial procedures.
