Mario Milosevic from Podgorica was offered a status of cooperating witness in the case of Oliver Ivanovic murder, portal Cdm.me writes referring to the Podgorica-based daily Dan.

Milosevic was allegedly offered mitigating circumstances if he signs already prepared statement accusing a criminal group made of members from Serbia and Montenegro as responsible for organizing and carrying out Ivanovic’s murder.

Although Kosovo authorities interrogated Milosevic on this matter several times, he denied his involvement in the crime and refused to testify in line with their instruction, Podgorica daily Dan wrote.

According to Dan, the same offer would be presented to other two arrested members of the criminal group, Montenegrin authorities are looking for because of the murder of Radomir Djurickovic.

During the arrest in Pristina, Milosevic claimed police deprived him of freedom by mistake. He presented to the police an identification document with the name Miroslav Kostic. The document said that Kostic, whose identity Milosevic was using, was born in Mitrovica North and lives permanently in Pristina.

Kosovo police in the same action arrested Djordje Pavicevic, who escaped from the hospital treatment in Dobrota (Montenegro) on July 3, where he was staying until his verdict for kidnapping enters into force.
