Goran Rakic: Cooperation between Serbs and Albanians never even existed (RTS, TV Most)

Cooperation between Serbs and Albanians never existed in the true sense of that word, President of Serbian List Goran Rakic said on Sunday in Mitrovica North, TV Most reported.

“Politicians from Pristina have double standards. We have a good cop and a bad cop, one who wants to present himself as a friend to Serbs and one who accuses the Serbs of everything, and thus this cooperation does not exist and has never existed in the true sense of this word,”  Rakic said, responding to journalist’s question on how do Serbs and Albanians cooperate with each other, if one ignores the politics and political tensions that exist.

As he added, co-operation may exist on paper, but in life it does not. Asked if he had an Albanian friend, Rakic replied: “Not a friend, but an acquaintance yes”. Rakic also stressed that without the state of Serbia, its government and the Office for KiM, the life of Serbs in Kosovo would be impossible, TV Most reported.
