Reaction of Kozarev to Hoxhaj statement on humanitarian aid of Russian NGO (Blic, KIM radio, TV Most, Kossev)

Deputy Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Dušan Kozarev today said that that the announced activities in Kosovo by the NGO Russian Humanitarian Mission  only can be criticized by those who do not have the grain of humanity and human rights feelings, reported daily newspapers Blic.

Hoxhaj: We have the candidate but not the majority, we need more time (Koha)

Deputy leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Enver Hoxhaj, said today at the Assembly of Kosovo, that the PAN coalition has the candidate for Assembly leader but not the majority. “As agreed at our last meeting, we are here at the session today. I want to thank political parties that participated, because our country needs a policy of cooperation and consensus. I also want to thank Mr. Mikullovci. We are not here to waste time with delays, as major decisions await this Assembly,” Hoxhaj said.

Deputy leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Enver Hoxhaj, expressed conviction that the Assembly of Kosovo will constitute next Thursday. He also said that there is no other candidate for the Assembly President except for Kadri Veseli. “Yes, That day we will propose the candidate for the President of the Assembly, Kadri Veseli, and candidates for deputy presidents of the Assembly, which means that constitution of the Assembly will happen,” Hoxhaj said.

Assembly session to resume on 24 August (RTK)

The Chairman of the consultative meeting of Kosovo political parties, Adem Mikullovci, announced that he will call resumption of the Kosovo Assembly session for 24 August, as proposed by the PAN coalition.

Vetevendosje movement did not participate at the meeting, while all the other political parties agreed with the PAN’s proposal to hold the session on 24 August.

The PAN representative, Enver Hoxhaj, requested for the session to be held on the date and also stressed that sessions should not be called unilaterally without a joint agreement.

Hoxhaj: Veseli, PAN's only candidate for Assembly Speaker (media)

Deputy leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Enver Hoxhaj, said after e meeting of the party leadership that Kadri Veseli remains the only candidate for Kosovo Assembly speaker and that the decision on whether to take part in the Assembly’s constitutive session scheduled for Thursday will be announced tomorrow.

Foreign Minister Enver Hoxhaj said all necessary measures were undertaken to secure support for Kosovo’s membership during Interpol’s General Assembly session in September. “Of 190 countries, we need the support of 110 for Kosovo to become member of Interpol.

Hoxhaj: I hope Serbian List will join PAN in forming new government (Zeri)

Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) deputy leader, Enver Hoxhaj, said PAN coalition will have enough votes to form the new government and that he hoped the Serbian List would join it.  “We will have sufficient number to elect Assembly Speaker and our preferred choice is Kadri Veseli”, Hoxhaj said. “We are the parliamentary majority and we have the right to propose the speaker of the Assembly and the nominee to form the government”, he added.
