Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director Marko Djuric said a predictable and expected pressure and hunt against Serbs in Kosovo has started following the address of the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Saturday, Danas daily reports.

This way, Djuric reacted to the arrest of Serb Goran Stanisic at crossing point of Jarinje, under suspicion of allegedly committing the war crimes in Kosovo.

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director Marko Djuric met today with the Turkish Ambassador to Serbia Tanju Bilgic and presented to him problems in the supply of the Serbian population in Kosovo with basic life commodities, following Pristina’s decision to impose 100 percent tariffs on goods from central Serbia, RTS reports.

Djuric warned that Pristina still tries to prevent in all possible ways or make difficult supply of the food and medicaments, adding that supply of the population in northern Kosovo thus remains irregular and uncertain.

Serbian state broadcaster RTS reports that Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric told reporters during a visit to the Belgrade City Museum that Pristina's decision is the last wedge in the coffin of the idea of dialogue, a terrible slap to the international community, a blow to the foundation of freedom of movement and all European principles.

Bakeries, petrol stations, pharmacies, beauty salons, restaurants and coffee bars are closed as well. Citizens were making reserves over the last couple of days while Chairman of the Businessmen Association from northern Kosovo, Rados Petrovic said the measure would remain in force as long as Pristina does not lift the tariffs.

Opposition Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) assessed yesterday that the current state of supply of the population and security in the north of Kosovo are the consequence of Serbian authorities’ politics since 2008 and arrogance of Pristina institutions, Danas daily reports.

DSS said Pristina has support by the US and the EU that in any way, including the violence and anti-civilization tariffs, use and misuse a wide spectrum of enforcing the statehood of self-declared Kosovo, opened by wrong Serbia’s politics over the last decade.

Regional meeting within the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA), held in Albanian coastal town of Vlore on Friday, was interrupted after an incident involving Kosovo's representatives, which Serbia's officials assessed as ''chauvinistic'', according to Serbian media.
