Kosovo police prevented Vinka Radosavljevic to cross Jarinje (TV Most)

Coordinator of the Management Team for the establishment of Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities (ACSM), Vinka Radosavljevic was prevented on Saturday by the Kosovo police to cross Jarinje point and continue her journey towards Raska, TV Most reported. According to TV Most, an Albanian KP officer prohibited her to cross Jarinje in an official vehicle and she had to return to Mitrovica North. Radosavljevic was on her way to attend a meeting with internally displaced persons from Kosovo and Metohija.

Kosovo media refute their own reports about Serbian troops (BETA, Tanjug, B92)

Several hours after publishing them, Pristina-based media denied their own stories about deployment of Serbian troops to the boundary with Kosovo, Serbian media write today. Serbia deployed "armed troops to the border with Kosovo," media in Pristina reported earlier, according to the Beta news agency. "This is the first time since 2008 and the declaration of independence that Serbia has sent soldiers and Gendarmes so close to the border with Kosovo," the report continued. "Regular army and Gendarmerie were deployed yesterday morning close to the border (administrative line) crossing Jarinje

Recordings from March 2004 were seized at the Jarinje crossing - "Encouragement of religious or ethnic hatred"? (Kossev)

Two hundred twenty-two discs (CDs) were seized yesterday at the Jarinje crossing. They were found during a control of the vehicle, by which three persons of Serb ethnicity were traveling, announced the Kosovo Police, reports Kossev.

According to the 24-hour Kosovo Police report, according to the words of the three men where discs were found - these discs had footage of March 2004 events. By the order of the prosecutor, as the report states further, entry to Kosovo was banned for the three men, reports Kossev.

Serb arrested in Jarinje (KiM Radio)

Male of Serb origin was arrested at the crossing point of Jarinje, Kosovo police said, KIM Radio reported. The police report said Kosovo Serb was arrested on Wednesday, around 20.00 hrs, based on the order of the Basic Court in Mitrovica and was sent to the detention centre. A Serb woman, M.T. displaced from Istok, was arrested at the same crossing point last week, under the charges that she has committed a war crime. She was placed under house arrest in the Pec Patriarchate Monstery, KIM Radio reported.

Kosovo President Thaçi visits northern Kosovo (Lajmi)

The news site reports that the President of Kosovo Hashim Thaçi is visiting northern Kosovo today and that he currently is in Jarinje border-crossing point. The news site also notes that this is the first time a president of Kosovo is visiting the northern border-crossing points. Thaçi’s political advisor, Ardian Arifaj, confirmed the news to Klan Kosova. “President Thaçi today visited Jarinje border-crossing point,” Arifaj said.
