The murder of Oliver Ivanovic was ordered, planned, political killing, and there is no doubt about it, according to the editor of the Belgrade weekly Vreme Filip Svarm. Deputy Oliver Ivanovic Ksenija Bozovic says she does not expect killers and orderers to be found, she thinks that there will not be a conflict between Serbs and Albanians, but that a faster migration of Serbs from Kosovo can occur, N1 reports.

On Monday, Daily newspaper Blic reported in an exclusive front-page story, as part of a larger series, details of secret documents of the Albanian mafia in Kosovo under the headline ''Thaci the lord of drugs, smuggling of weapons and fuel''. EULEX judge, Arkadiusz Sedek, presiding over the trial against the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) MP Azem Syla accused on organised crime charges, has decided to open court sessions to the media after initially closing them off. Sedek justified the decision to open the trial due to the media importance of the case and its outcome. However, today’s court hearing was postponed for Thursday after one of the accused, Hajrullah Berisha, is reported to have fled Kosovo.

Kosovo President, Hashim Thaci, said today that in line with his promises when he took up office, he has requested and initiated the amendment of the Criminal Code and the Criminal Procedure Code. “I have made this request in order to eliminate legal gaps and to strengthen the laws,” Thaci said at the first meeting of the working group that will amend the Criminal Code and Criminal Procedure Code, organised by the Ministry of Justice. Thaci also said: “we are witnesses to global changes and Kosovo is not immune to the current threats.
