First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic said in Washington that stabilization of the Western Balkans is crucial for the development of the region's economy.
Dacic spoke on Wednesday at a panel dedicated to business and investment in the Western Balkans during the conference of the Atlantic Council.
Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Behgjet Pacolli, took to Facebook to respond harshly to the Serbian Foreign Minister, Ivica Dacic.
“Dacic’s statement that he will “ruin” Kosovo’s recognitions is a result of his syndrome and the policy that he represents – destructivity, destruction, ruining.
So this is what Dacic represents. We in Kosovo will always be constructive and we will build. Destruction is a characteristic of extremely frustrated ones.
President of the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS), Ivica Dacic called upon Serbs in Kosovo and internally displaced persons eligible to vote, to participate in local elections on 22 October and vote for Srpska Lista, Serbian media reported.
Dacic said these elections are of great importance to the Serb people and decisive about their destiny in Kosovo.
"If they apply, the voting will take place at the Executive Board in October, if it passes there, then in November at the General Conference," Serbian Foreign Minister, Ivica Dacic said to the Serbian daily Blic.
The FM also thinks that Pristina will not succeed.
"I have been dealing with this issue continuously, we are sending envoys, and I am certain that they cannot pass for accession to UNESCO," Dacic said.
Serbia's decision to withdraw its embassy staff from Macedonia is in fact "a message to Skopje."
The message is that Serbia "knows what they laid their heads together for, and what they agreed on," First Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said on Tuesday.
"That's something not done among friends," Dacic said referring to Skopje's actions, and added that despite this, Serbia was seeking "good relations with all countries in the region, for the sake of peace and stability."

The Serbian police is investigating what had happened with the original Dayton Agreement document in Serbia, who is to blame for its disappearance and whether a mere negligence or intentions were behind it, reported Serbian tabloid newspaper Srpski Telegraf.
The daily refers to its source in the police, who said it is a document of the state importance and it is important to clarify what had happened.
UN Secretary General, (UNSG) António Guterres latest report on the work of UNMIK and the situation in Kosovo would be debated today at the UN Security Council session, RTS reported.

Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic says his proposal about "delineation" in Kosovo will eliminate "the causes of war" between Serbs and Albanians.
He reiterated that Serbia will "never recognize the unilateral independence of Kosovo."
"I am trying to propose a lasting solution because it is based on a compromise between historical and ethnic rights, that implies a delineation of what is Serb and what is Albanian," Dacic told RTS.
