Serbia’s president vowed to start a nationwide debate next month on unresolved relations with Kosovo and Albania, saying a “compromise” would fix most of his country’s political problems for a century and open the way to European Union membership.
The Anti-Corruption Agency could warn publicly Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic as he at least, seven times, misused the Prime Minister function speaking about the activities of the Serbian Government during his presidential campaign, Danas daily reported today.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, stated he sees there is no courage in Serbia enough to change the Constitution and warned it could block Serbia’s road to the EU.
He added, that those who do not wish to change the Constitution want that everything remains as it is, while those who want to change the Constitution wish to denounce Kosovo, so a solution is not possible in such a vicious cycle. I do not indent to make the Constitution by force, Vucic said, adding that the Constitution has to be a result of a wider consensus.Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said early today that as far as dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina is concerned, "nothing is finished."
Secretary General of the President of Serbia, Nikola Selakovic, stated that the invitation of the President Vucic for internal dialogue on Kosovo is the most important political topic, adding the President is pleased with the way his initiative echoed in the public, RTS reported.
Adviser to the Leader of the opposition Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS), Dragan Marsicanin thinks the party should accept the invitation of Aleksandar Vucic for internal dialogue on Kosovo in order “to make the truth visible, and unveil illusions about the patriotic character of the authorities.”
