Dusan Janjic: All leads towards an armed conflict in Kosovo (N1)

Vulin and Chepurin on Kosovo and military cooperation (RTV)

Media: Macron to visit Serbia soon (Vecernje Novosti, Tanjug, B92)

French President Emanuel Macron should visit Serbia in the next couple of weeks, while a precise date should be known soon, Serbian media report.

This was stated by French Ambassador in Belgrade Frederic Mondoloni.

“I work hard on agreements with Belgrade regarding the new date, and I hope to propose a concrete date soon. I expect the visit to take place in the coming weeks,” Mondoloni told Vecernje Novosti daily.

Serbian President Vucic: "Pristina will withdraw taxes, but we paid high price" (B92, Beta, Tanjug)

Pristina will withdraw taxes on goods from central Serbia sooner or later, President Aleksandar Vucic said, but also stressed that this cost Serbia a lot.

Asked by journalists in Davos to comment on Avni Arifi, the head of the Ramush Haradinaj's cabinet, who said that the government in Pristina could temporarily suspend taxes (pending a comprehensive agreement with Belgrade), Vucic noted in a statement for Serbia’s national broadcaster RTS that this would happen sooner or later.

Dacic: Mogherini confirmed Kosovo agreement must be ratified by UN (Beta, N1)

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov asked the EU’s Federica Mogherini on the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue and she said any potential agreement between the two sides would have to be ratified by the UN Security Council, Serbia’s Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said.

"This is evidence that Russia is monitoring the situation and that they won’t just be silent observers," Dacic said.

"EU integration supported by 55 percent of citizens" (Serbian Government, B92)

EU Integration Minister Jadranka Joksimovic said on Friday that EU integration is supported by 55 percent of Serbian citizens.

This represents "a steady support to the process," she said, according to remarks carried by the Serbian Government's website.

Speaking at the session of the National Council on the EU, Joksimovic presented the latest six-month research of the ministry, which was conducted in December according to Eurobarometer standards, noting that the responses of support to Serbia's EU accession are almost identical as in July last year.

Arifi with Hoxhaj on Dialogue (Danas, FoNet)

Mayor of Presevo Shqiprim Arifi met with the Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo Enver Hoxhaj in Pristina on the occasion of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, reports today news agency FoNet.

Hoxhaj yesterday informed the Presevo delegation led by Arifi about the meeting of the representatives of Kosovo with the High Representative for Security and Foreign Policy of the European Union Federica Mogherini and the expectations of Kosovo from the dialogue.
