Srpska Lista will have opposition in elections in Kosovo (RFE, KoSSev)

Radio Free Europe writes that the Serbian community would have a possibility to choose who to vote for in the upcoming elections in Kosovo, given that no Serbian political party responded to a call of Srpska Lista for united participation.

Talks between political opponents of Srpska Lista are underway RFE continues, while on the other hand Srpska Lista called “for unity and that all united under a single hat, following the politics of Aleksandar Vucic take part in elections.”

It is a pity that Belgrade only supports the Serbian List, says President of the Progressive Democratic Party (RTK2, Slobodno Srpski, Kontakt plus radio)

President of the Progressive Democratic Party Nenad Rasic said that he was sure that the Assembly would decide to dissolve the Parliament on August 22, after which early parliamentary elections would be called.

Rasic said that to Serbs was irrelevant who would form the new government among the Albanian political parties, but that it was important that the Serbian politicians “position themselves” in the realization of a possible coalition agreement, which they themselves must defend.

Rasic: Serbs see Kosovo army as threat (Radio KIM)

Former Kosovo MP and leader of Progressive-Democratic Party (PDS) Nenad Rasic told RTV KIM that Serbian people see the Kosovo army as a threat.

“We see it as a threat now, and I do not see, nor I saw before, a Serb who could vote for it and agree with that. Unfortunately, despite of all our obstacles and stances, they continue stubbornly with forming a body, that does not change the essence, but changes its mission, and these are only minor technical corrections,” Rasic said.

“Internal dialogue” and its results (Radio KIM)

Once year after the launch of internal dialogue on Kosovo and Metohija, a question arises if it existed at all, since no conclusions so far came out of it, RTV KIM reports.

Leader of the Progressive-Democratic Party (PDS), Nenad Rasis told RTV KIM there was no dialogue in fact, and such dialogue was senseless since it did not take place at an adequate level.

“Announcements of independent ZSO establishment political marketing” (KIM radio)

Despite numerous statements and messages that Srpska Lista would independently initiate the establishment of the Association/Community of Serb-Majority Municipalities on April 20th, it has however decided to wait, KIM Radio reports today.

This is not first time that Srpska Lista announces and then pulls back from independent establishment of the ZSO. Although ZSO has been agreed in Brussels five years ago, it still remains “a dead letter on paper,” KIM Radio further said.

Rasic: There is hope for us (KIM Radio)

“I think we have managed to get to the people and convince them there is a hope for us, there is a perspective to remain here, because these people are the most important,” said Nenad Rasic, leader of the Progressive Democratic Party (PDS), KIM Radio reported.

The PDS would conclude its election campaign today. The party did not have a candidate for a mayor in Gracanica, but only for the municipal assembly. The campaign was led calmly and with direct talks to the citizens.

Nenad Rasic: We decide about our destiny (RTK 2)

Progressive Democratic Party (PDS) would make decision on how to participate in the forthcoming local elections, but “what is certain, PDS would have mayor candidates in some municipalities, while in others they would have lists of candidates for MA’s,” stated the leader of the PDS, Nenad Rasic to RTK 2.

Rasic also expressed hope that the situation, similar to those during the parliamentary elections when certain candidates revoke their participation, would not occur again.
