Chief Prosecutor at Kosovo Specialist Prosecutor's Office Jack Smith, on his first visit to Kosovo, attended a series of meetings with international and Kosovo officials, reported all media.

Smith met yesterday with UNMIK chief Zahir Tanin and talked about cooperation, reported RTV Puls.

UNMIK chief Zahir Tanin met in Belgrade on Monday with Serbia’s Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic who told him that the UN mission has to remain in Kosovo to secure the conditions for the Serbs to live normal lives.

UNMIK Head, Zahir Tanin assessed yesterday as concerning attempts from the part of Kosovo authorities to revoke Special Court for KLA war crimes, murder of Oliver Ivanovic and the fact that the Brussels agreement is not fully implemented, in particular when it comes to the establishment of the Association of Serb Municipalities, Serbian media report today.

Addressing Security Council members Tanin said that establishment of the Special Court represented a major step for Kosovo.
