Beqiri: Mustafa’s government, the most successful (Kallxo.com)

Ismet Beqiri, head of the parliamentary group of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), assessed Isa Mustafa’s government as the most successful one after the war.

Beqiri said that opposition has a parliamentary power of 30 votes, and stated that LDK would vote against the motion. “Motion with unsustainable data and untruth attributed to this government and Assembly,” Beqiri said.

He also spoke about partnership with the United States of America. “There is no possibility for anyone to bring us apart from this partnership  no matter the intentions of anyone.”

Mustafa leaves the Assembly session (Koha)

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, left the Assembly session after listening to the speeches of the heads of PDK and LDK parliamentary groups.

During the speech of the head of Vetevendosje movement parliamentary group, Glauk Konjufca, Mustafa left the session, however it is not known if the MPs and Ministers from his party, would leave as well.

Head of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Ismet Beqiri, said that the meeting of this parliamentary group with the U.S. Ambassador, Greg Delawie, was substantial, however he did not give any more information about the discussions.

“I can say that the agenda is already set: tomorrow is a motion initiated by the opposition. We said that the points mentioned in the motion are not true,” Beqiri said.

Rasic: No one from governing coalition discussed army with Serbian List (Klan Kosova)

Kosovo Assembly’s Serbian MP, Nenad Rasic said today that Kosovo’s President Hashim Thaci and people of the political scene in Kosovo, appear to have lost their way.

“No one from the PDK-LDK coalition has discussed with the Serbian List about the army,” Rasic said.

Veliu: Those who seek elections, have personal troubles (Telegrafi)

Agim Veliu, deputy leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), said that Kosovo does not need early elections. According to him, the government should be allowed to fulfill its projects. Veliu did not want to comment the statement of the LDK MP Lirie Kajtazi who said that the governing coalition does not have a long life. “I do not know what my colleague said, but I have heard this request from others as well. To be honest, this is being said due to the personal troubles of some,” Veliu said.

Kosovo Assembly MP from the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), considers the fact that the President of Kosovo Hashim Thaci discussed transformation of KSF with the Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic, and not with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, unacceptable and hurting.

He said that this is a mistake made by the President, and added that except for the PM Mustafa, he should have also consulted numerous experts of military matters.

Head of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) parliamentary group, Ismet Beqiri, said the party would support the transformation of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) into an army but noted that this should be done with the support of strategic partners. Beqiri said the LDK would support the bill if it is put to vote at the Assembly but that the goal of creating an army that would protect Kosovo’s sovereignty would be difficult to achieve without the international support.
