In the first returnee village Grabac, in the municipality of Klina, almost all the houses of the Serb returnees were robbed, where 28 houses for returnees were built, which are now empty, reports RTK2.

RTK2 reports that until the last year the only returnees in this village were Ilinka Nesic (87), and Borka Konic (82) who were often targets of robbers. Two women left the village last year, whereby the village became completely empty.

Except in the town itself, in the municipality of Klina, a number of Serbs live in the surrounding villages: Bica, Berkovo, Klinavac, Grabac, Straza, Vidanje ... However, every year there are fewer of them, some died, while others go in search of better living conditions, writes today Kontakt plus radio on its web portal.

Serbian media reported on fires and burglaries on the property of returnees in Kosovo. Belgrade-based daily Blic reported that in the village of Zac near Istok, parts of the forest were burned due to the fire that spread from surrounding fields. The daily added that attacks on the property of Serbian returnees in Kosovo were recorded in the village of Novake near Prizren.

Vice President of the Serbian List Igor Simic told RTK2 that the Serbian List condemns all attacks on the property of Serbs in Kosovo and seeks greater involvement of KFOR, while expressing disappointment with the police's response to theft and the finding of perpetrators.

Simic said in the RTK2 Show ''Poglavlje'' that these attacks directly affect the survival and return of displaced Serbs and that they must therefore be treated as a priority.

The Kosovo and Metohija Office announced that in the village of Grabac in the municipality of Klina, around 15 Serbian returnees’ houses were broken into and condemned the attempt to jeopardize the security of Serbs, reports regional broadcaster N1.

According to Branimir Gligorijevic, a medical technician, this is the fifth time in the last few years that the ambulance was broken into, medicines have been stolen. But this time, according to Gligorijevic, the complete health documentation was burned.

The case was reported to the Kosovo police and an investigation was conducted. Otherwise, since the return in 2003, Serbian houses were robbed twenty times, and the church bell was stolen, reports TV most.

Milorad Zajic (1949) was arrested yesterday at the police station in Klina, when he came at the invitation of the Kosovo police to take over households items stolen from him,  reported Kontakt plus radio, quoting Radio Gorazdevac.

Zajic is a returnee since 2008, according to Radio Gorazdevac and he is currently in custody in Pristina.

Rako Kostic, a clerk in the municipality of Klina, has confirmed that the returnee was arrested.

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Djuric, strongly condemned "shameful and cowardly attacks" on the property of the Serbs in Kosovo, and said that it was highly irresponsible that the international community did not take more active steps to stop the "terror against the Serbian population", reports RTS.

On the occasion of another incident that took place on Saturday evening, when in a household of Snezana Dubljevic was set on fire hay, straw, barn and pigsty in the village of Suvi Lukavac, the deputy prime minister of Kosovo and the minister for communities and returns, Dalibor Jevtic, assessed that it was about, as he said, "organized violence against Serb returnees in the municipality of Istok", reports RTS.

Burglaries and thefts became more frequent in the returnees village of Novake, nearby Prizren, while the latest one occurred over the weekend when several houses were broken into, household items were stolen and significant material damage done, KoSSev portal reported referring to RTK2.

Representatives of the village do not report any longer cases to the police, Serbian media further reported.

On the other side, Kosovo police claims they would be investigated any reported case till the end.
