Giving up a Brussels-based dialogue is not an option for the Government of Serbia (Blic)

Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and Serbian delegation intensified diplomatic activities, so that the EU would react to Pristina’s violations of the Brussels agreement. According to sources from the cabinet of Serbian PM, giving up the Brussels dialogue is not an option. Belgrade remains committed to the implementation of the agreements reached in Brussels, but insist that the other side finish commitments from the agreements.

Belgrade asked the European Union to press Pristina in order to immediately form the Association / Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO). Otherwise, the continuation of the dialogue will be jeopardized.  Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has repeated that Serbia is ready for the dialogue, but he admitted that he is tired from the negative events happening in Pristina: “Also, I'm tired from one’s silence. We will allocate the money for the ZSO in the budget for next year, which will always exist in the reserve funds for this purpose.”

Simic: Pristina tries to delay the main part of the agreement (Vecernje Novosti)

President of the Serbian list in Kosovo Assembly Slavko Simic said that the decision of the Kosovo Constitutional Court to suspend the part of the Brussels Agreement is an attempt to postpone the implementation of a key element of the agreement – establishment of the Association / Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO).

In regards to the decision of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo to suspend agreement on the formation of the Community of Serb municipalities (ZSO), Serbian Minister of Labour, Employment, Veterans and Social Policy Aleksandar Vulin said that it will be a test for the EU, adding that Pristina believes that violation of the agreement is allowed.

Coordinator of the team for the establishment of the Community / Association of Serbian Municipalities (ZSO), Ljubomir Maric, said that the decision of the Kosovo Constitutional Court to suspend part of the Brussels agreement related to the ZSO is a bad message.

Drecun: Brussels will have to react in case Pristina refuse to implement agreement on ZSO (Blic)

Chairman of the Serbian Parliamentary Committee for Kosovo Milovan Drecun has said that Brussels will have to react over Pristina’s efforts not to implement signed agreement on the formation of Community / Association of Serb municipalities (ZSO).

“It is up to Brussels, as facilitator and guarantor of what was agreed, to force Pristina to begin to behave in a politically rational way, as otherwise we could have destabilization of the situation that took too much effort to stabilize,” said Drecun.

President of the Serbian list Slavko Simic says that he agreed with the representatives of the Kosovo Government that there would be no unilateral decisions taken, as was the sending of the agreement on the Community/Association of Serbian municipalities to the Constitutional Court for review, and that there will not be reciprocal measures related to personal documents and vehicle registration plates.

Vucic: Brussels should declare about Pristina’s act on suspension of the agreement (Tanjug)

Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said today that Belgrade expects Brussels reaction to the announcement from Pristina to suspend an agreement on the formation of Community / Association of Serb municipalities (ZSO) until further notice, because it is a decision which raises many questions, including questions of fundamental and strategic importance for the Republic of Serbia.
