Haradinaj: Isa Mustada has divided Rugova and cut Kosovo to pieces (Koha)

Ramush Haradinaj, leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), met today in Pristina with representatives of settlements along the border with Montenegro, promising them that the current border demarcation agreement will not be implemented. The AAK leader criticized Prime Minister Isa Mustafa for “dividing Rugova and cutting Kosovo to pieces”. Representatives of the settlements too said the border demarcation agreement cuts in half the Rugova region. They also said that would do anything to prevent Montenegro from taking away their “lands and graves”.

Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) has issued a statement from its leader Ramush Haradinaj who says that the opposition has no choice but to prevent the implementation of agreements on border demarcation with Montenegro and creation of Association/Community of Serb majority municipalities. “We as opposition can never agree to have anyone strike such a blow to the state and the territory of Kosovo,” Haradinaj said.

Ramush Haradinaj, the leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), said the attack on Prime Minister Isa Mustafa at the assembly session today was an expected reaction from the MPs. “The throwing of eggs was both right and necessary,” Haradinaj said. Opposition parties form joint anti-government front (media)

The Vetevendosje leader, Visar Ymeri, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) leader Ramush Haradinaj and the Initiative for Kosovo (NISMA) leader Fatmir Limaj, told a press conference in Pristina today that they have agreed to form a joint anti-government front. The opposition leaders said that starting from Friday they will organize a petition throughout Kosovo in opposition to the formation of the Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities, the agreements reached in Brussels and the border demarcation with Montenegro.

Ramush Haradinaj, ,leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) said in an interview for Radio Dukagjini that the worst thing about the special court is that according to him, it is selective and it affects only Albanians. He further added that he is not surprised by the fact that the special court could seek evidence and investigate Dukagjini zone, because it is well known that the war happened there. “The fighting happened in Dukagjin, and the war did not end earlier as in other zones. AAK will organize anti-government protests (media)

Several news sites report that the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) led by Ramush Haradinaj will soon organize protests against the government. Haradinaj said today that protests will be held against “corruption, the degradation of the government and against all agreements reached in Brussels”. The AAK did not announce an eventual timetable for the protests.

Haradinaj said that the international community can play a crucial role on this process.  He also added that the European Union is proving to be unsuccessful in the Balkans.
