"There are no normal conditions for the smooth running of the Assembly’s work. Instead, the ruling coalition should take this issue seriously. There will be no normality. There cannot be Assmebly sessions without opposition. The agreement’s will not pass,” Limaj said.

Limaj said violence is what is happening to Kosovo. “We grew up with teargas and we don’t want our children to grow up like this. The future of our children is being ruined by this agreement,” said Limaj. He reiterated that the opposition stands united in opposing the creation of the Association/Community of Serb majority municipalities.

The Vetevendosje leader, Visar Ymeri, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) leader Ramush Haradinaj and the Initiative for Kosovo (NISMA) leader Fatmir Limaj, told a press conference in Pristina today that they have agreed to form a joint anti-government front. The opposition leaders said that starting from Friday they will organize a petition throughout Kosovo in opposition to the formation of the Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities, the agreements reached in Brussels and the border demarcation with Montenegro.

Gashi: Special court will not try Haradinaj or Limaj (Telegrafi)

In an interview for the news site, Pristina-based attorney Tome Gashi said the statute of the special court does not allow for it to try Ramush Haradinaj, leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), or Initiative for Kosovo (NISMA) leader Fatmir Limaj, because both men were acquitted by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. “Some of their political rivals are implying that Haradinaj and Limaj could be tried by the special court. However, Haradinaj, as a senior KLA officer, was declared innocent in two occasions by the ICTY.
