US Congress delegation tells Serbian president to arrest retired policeman (Blic, FoNet, N1)

A bi-partisan US Congress delegation has demanded the arrest of former senior Serbian police officer Goran Radosavljevic aka Guri over the killing of three Kosovo Albanian US citizens in 1999, Belgrade daily Blic said on Monday.

The delegation met with President Aleksandar Vucic during last week’s security conference in Munich to demand Radosavljevic’s arrest and extradition.

Mayor of Presevo Shqiprim Arifi met with the Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo Enver Hoxhaj in Pristina on the occasion of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, reports today news agency FoNet.

Hoxhaj yesterday informed the Presevo delegation led by Arifi about the meeting of the representatives of Kosovo with the High Representative for Security and Foreign Policy of the European Union Federica Mogherini and the expectations of Kosovo from the dialogue.

Belgrade weekly ‘Vreme’ asks Kosovo police to investigate their car fire (FoNet, Vreme, N1)

In an open letter to Kosovo police Director-General Rashti Qalaj, the Belgrade based weekly Vreme demanded urgent investigation of the fire at the Jarinje border crossing with Serbia proper which destroyed a car the weekly used while visiting Kosovo, the FoNet news agency reported on Wednesday.

A reporter of "Le Courrier des Balkans" joined Vreme’s crew on its way back to Belgrade.

The fire broke out suddenly late on January 4. All passengers escaped unharmed while the car was destroyed.

Norwegian ambassador to Belgrade, Arne Sannes Bjørnstad, told the Belgrade Danas daily on Friday that Serbia’s membership to the European Union did not depend only on a solution to the Kosovo issue, but also on the rule of law and media reforms, the FoNet news agency reported.

Simic: Delimitation can prevent ethnic cleansing (FoNet, Danas, RTK2)

Serbian List deputy Igor Simic said that the idea of delimitation with Albanians in basics intends to prevent any future ethnic cleansing, adding that everyone is clear who is concerned sincerely about the future of Serbs in Kosovo, Serbian media reported.

Simic this way responded to Abbott Sava Janjic's FB post, who estimated that the delimitation would lead to ethnic cleansing, as a legitimate solution.

Abbot Sava Janjic wrote on his Facebook account that by accepting the agreement on the delimitation of Serbs and Albanians, Europe would accept the idea of ethnic cleansing as a legitimate solution.

"Acceptance of ethnic partition between Serbs and Albanians in Kosovo by territorial division and forcing 70.000 Serbs south of the partition line to an imminent exodus and leaving their holy sites in peril would mean that EU accepts the idea of an agreed ethnic cleansing as a legitimate solution.

Djuric: The Management Team will meet all obligations regarding the Statute (RTK2, FoNet, Danas)

Director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric says to Belgrade based daily Politika that the Serbian Management team will fulfil its obligations regarding the proposal of the Statute of the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO) and that this document will be presented to the mixed committee in Brussels, Serbian media reports.
