Jablanović: Mustafa should call Serbs in institutions (Blic)

President of the Serbian List Aleksandar Jablanović said that Kosovo's Prime Minister Isa Mustava should invite representatives of that list for a discussion, if he wants return of the Serbs to Kosovo institutions. As he said, meeting with the Kosovo Prime Minister will be probably held after the protest which is scheduled for tomorrow.

Dacic and Thaci at a conference on cyberspace in The Hague (Blic)

Freedom and security of the Internet are the main topics of the fourth Global Conference on Cyberspace (GCS), which begins today in The Hague.

Two-day event which aims to encourage practical cooperation between countries, businessmen and scientific institutions, harmonize international standards and norms of acceptable behaviour and explore ways to protect freedom and privacy on the Internet will bring together representatives of hundred countries and international organizations.

Djuric attends meetings in Brussels (Blic)

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric will participate in the meetings which will be held in Brussels between Belgrade and Pristina. As announced by the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija, during the afternoon, in the building of the European External Affairs Service will be held a preliminary discussion for the next round of dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.

During the morning will be discussed migration flows and measures for addressing illegal migrations.

Serbs fear the escalation of the conflict (Blic)

Violence has overwhelmed the streets of northern Kosovska Mitrovica, and citizens fear that the situation will worsen. In six separate incidents since last Thursday, eight people were injured and one disappeared. Among the injured people are mostly the Serbs, but also Bosnians and Albanians.

A series of attacks began on the night between Thursday and Friday, when a group of Albanians crossed the bridge over the Ibar/Iber River and attacked three Serbian youths. Two of them managed to escape, but the third one was severely wounded and is now recovering in Mitrovica hospital.

"Full investigation into EULEX corruption claims needed" (Blic, B92, Tanjug)

EP Rapporteur for Kosovo Ulrike Lunacek has said that a report that found no evidence of corruption in EU's mission in Kosovo, EULEX, "is only the first step."

The Austrian MEP called for "a full investigation into the work of the EU rule of law mission."

"The report is an important first step, but some questions remain unanswered," Lunacek said on her website.

Teenager stabbed by masked attackers in Mitrovica (B92, Blic, TV Most, KIM radio)

A 17-year-old Serb boy who was stabbed in the chest near the bridge on the Ibar River in Mitrovica is in a stable condition after he underwent surgery.

Kosovska Mitrovica Heath Center Director Milan Ivanovic made the announcement on Thursday, but did not rule out complications due to the nature of the injuries, saying that his recovery was at the moment progressing as expected.

Dacic and the new UNHCR Representative discuss IDPs (Blic, Tanjug)

BELGRADE - Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic and the new representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Belgrade Hans Friedrich Schodder discussed on Thursday the issue of displaced persons in Serbia and the implementation of the Regional Housing Program for refugees.

The two officials expressed their support for a further cooperation between Serbia and the UNHCR in resolving the issues of long-term displacement, statelessness and a large increase in asylum seekers, the Serbian Foreign Ministry said in a release.

Thaci: Rama’s statement misinterpreted (Blic)

Kosovo Minister of foreign affairs Hashim Thaci said today that the statement of Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama regarding the unification of Kosovo and Albania is misinterpreted. “We didn’t talk about changing the boundaries, but about reducing ‘visibility of the boundaries’ according to the European model, so that people could move freely. We will all one day belong to that European area,” said Thaci to the reporters in Zagreb, after meeting with the Croatian Foreign Minister, Vesna Pusic.

Brezovica between Serbian and Albanian interests (RTS/Blic)

Kosovo government inter-ministerial group decided to continue with the concession for the Ski-Center ‘Brezovica’ and to sign a contract with the French consortium “Brezovica Resort”. However, contract would not come into effect unless investor doesn’t provide bank guarantees and until final decision over certain issues is not confirmed by the local self-government in Štrpce/Shtërpcë.
