Simic with Hyseni due to the attacks on Serbs (RTK2, Akter)

The head of the parliamentary group of the Serbian List in the Kosovo Assembly Slavko Simic will meet early this week with the Kosovo Interior Minister Skender Hyseni. Simic expressed a sharp protest against the wave of violence against Serbs in Kosovo, the Serbian list announced today.

As previously announced, Simic would talk to Hyseni, because "there is no more sense to condemn crimes, fraud and injustice through statements," while the Kosovo police will not or was not able to prevent the violence.

Abbot Janjic: Political decision of UNESCO (RTK2)

Abbot of Visoki Decani Monastery Sava Janjic believes that talks on Kosovo's admission to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, should be postponed, because Kosovo has not demonstrated political maturity. He stressed that proposal of Executive board to admit Kosovo in UNESCO is the result of political decisions.

Opposing views on security in the northern Kosovo (RTK2)

According to the Kosovo police, the situation in the north is normalized. Yet politicians have conflicting opinions.

The deputy regional commander of the Kosovo police Besim Hoti stressed that the current situation in the north is stable regardless of the incidents that have occurred in recent days. He said that police presence increased.

Serbian list is already divided (RTK2)

After representatives of the Serbian list sent a joint statement, in which they demanded immediate withdrawal of Aleksandar Jablanović from all functions (which was supported by the Serbian government) some analysts said that this actually indicate division within the Serbian list.

Momcilo Trajkovic from the Serbian National Forum believes that dismissal of Jablanović as president of the Serbian list is not surprising and that it means the division within this list.

Kosovo Bosniaks seek Recane to be a municipality (RTK2)

The International Day of Bosniaks, 28 September, which aim is to preserve the national identity, will be marked and in Kosovo. This minority community faces numerous problems.

The central celebration of the International Day of Bosniaks, traditionally marked in Prizren, will be sponsored by the Government of Kosovo. Coordinator of the celebration is Rasim Demiri, Minister without portfolio in the Government of Kosovo and the official of Vakat.

Jablanovic: Serbian list stronger than any individual (RTK2)

At the requested dismissal of the President of the Serbian List, Aleksandar Jablanovic for RTK2 said that he has led the Serbian list correctly, and he told the mayors not to interfere with the internal struggle of individuals.

Jablanovic commented that it was a political naivety, because mayors have nothing to do with the Serbian list and that they were chosen in elections in which the CI "Srpska" participated with Vladeta Kostic as the President, and that he was at the helm of the Serbian List, which participated in the parliamentary elections.
