Council for Inclusive Governance (CIG) will stage a round table meeting on 27 June in Pristina for MPs from the Serbian and Kosovo parliaments, who will discuss normalization of relations. The round table, supported by the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will offer a chance to MPs to exchange their experiences and ideas with regard to mutual cooperation, aimed at settling open issues and improving general relations between two societies, reads the statement and further adds that participants will discuss and specific contributions which could be made in the
Collective center in Brezovica was disconnected from electricity supply yesterday morning without any justification.
According to the residents of the collective center the Serbian Government’s Commissariat for Refugees has paid the debt owed for electricity consumption.
The director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Ðurić said last night in Pristina, on the occasion of the two-year anniversary of broadcasting of the TV channel RTK2 in Serbian language, that it is very important for this service to function in the interests of Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija and to report on all endeavors and challenges faced. Ðurić stressed the importance of the objective informing, freedom of expression and access to information and highlighted that RTK2 can count on the support of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija in future.
Following the creation of the inter-ministerial group for return, chaired by the Kosovo Minister for Communities and Return Dalibor Jevtic, establishment of another one has been announced that will deal with the representation of non-majority communities in public institutions and companies, and will be chaired by the Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Branimir Stojanovic. “It will be about the new inter-ministerial group that will deal with the representation of the non-majority communities and Serbs in the institutions,” said Stojanovic and added that this group is
