Apostolova: As soon as possible to form Community/Association of Serb municipalities (RTK2, Jedinstvo)

NGO Centre for Peace and Tolerance to file lawsuit against Daut Haradinaj (RTK2)

Executive Director of the Centre for Peace and Tolerance (CPT) Nenad Maksimović has announced filing a lawsuit against Daut Haradinaj for inciting national hatred.

Maksimović has recalled the recent threats made by Daut Haradinaj and the calls for ethnic cleansing as well as the condemnations that have arrived from the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija, the US Embassy in Kosovo, UNMIK, Kosovo President, and several Serbian representatives.

Aleksandar Jablanović and Slavko Simić five days ago have filed a request for the registration of the same citizens' initiative as a political party. Both of them claim that they are entitled to it while waiting the CEC to officially comment on the issue.

Both Simić and Jablanović expect a positive outcome of a decision of the CEC, the decision should be made within 30 days.

Busses with supporters of SNS stoned and blocked (RTK2, Srna, Blic)

More than 60 buses carrying Serbs that were going for the SNS rally (organized for the the party's candidate Aleksandar Vučić in the Serbian presidental elections) were stopped this morning in several places south of the Ibar.

As daily Blic reports, the provincial committee of the Serbian Progressive Party reported that about 3 000 people have been prevented to go to the rally in Leposavić/Leposaviq.

Hoxha: Nine Serbs passed the Kosovo bar exam (RTK2)

The Brussels agreement on the judiciary was supposed to start on January 10, but this is still pending. The Parliamentary Commission on Legislation organized a public debate to inform the public about the reasons for non-implementation of this Agreement.

EEAS Spokesperson Maja Kocijančić told RTK2 that the announced opening of the bridge for the traffic, which was scheduled for January 20, will not take place.

''The EU is continuing the talks with both sides in order to find a mutually acceptable solution for all issues related to the works on the bridge in Mitrovica and in Kralja Petra I  Street and it includes a new date for re-opening, '' said the Spokesperson for EU Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Maja Kocijančić.
